Happy, Healthy Kids:Crafting a Hygiene Wonderland for Staying Well!

Chris here! Hello out there ! Whoa wash your hands is my first published book. I hope you will enjoy it! I wrote the book to encourage washing hands correctly. How often do we see people go to the bathroom and do a quick splash or even don’t wash their hands at all. I saw a cartoon once showing a circus clown walking out of a room full of people and above the toilet door instead of an exit sign the cartoonist had a sign with flashing lights and alarms, the sign said ‘didn’t wash hands”! The cartoonist had drawn everyone in the room looking in disgust at the clown. I think of this cartoon every time I see someone walking out of a bathroom without washing their hands.

Currently I am working on my next book a sequel with Burt and Henri showing us the importance of eating healthy. I have created lots of new characters and over time I will place some on my blog. When I am not writing and illustrating books I enjoy creating art works. My art centres around patterns that I see in the world. Whilst in my world of patterning I often get ideas for my future books and games. Whilst repainting my fridge and an old kitchen mixer I thought about what Burt and Henry’s kitchen can look like.?
My apple and bee logo was created when I produced my first game called Forgery. Which is an art board game where players become multi millionaire art buyers who attend auctions and bid for famous art works. The player who can spot the differences between forgeries and original art works wins the game. Perhaps I will turn the idea into a book? For an older audience! but how many kids want to come across art forgers and famous art works?
