Sparkling smiles and playful plots: Unveiling adventures for happy, healthy kids!

Hi
As mentioned on my previous blog I would show some images of the new characters from one of the books I am working on at present. It’s a book about healthy eating. Chef Burt and Chef Henri are still the main characters. I have created lots of characters based on vegetables, fruit and nuts! Here are a few but I call them slightly different names to what they are called if you went to the markets or shops to buy them. Can you identify what vegetable the following are:- I have Broco Lee, Corn Cob, Thin Bean and Peas, Fun Guys, Advo Cool Dude and A Genie Plant.
When I cook I use lots of different vegetables. My meals are normally a harlequin of colour.
Last time I also mentioned that my art work and my ideas for books can sometimes work alongside each other. I get ideas whilst I am working with patterns. I have included a picture of a mixer that I use in my kitchen but perhaps I will use it in Burt or Henri’s kitchen in one of my books?
I often restyle all sorts of objects with patterns. These include fridges, tea pots, surfboards, guitars, chairs and other old furniture that I think need a face lift. Lately I have been painting a water tank which was a boring grey colour. I don’t think it will feature in a book but whilst I was painting I was thinking about what would Burt and Henri look like without their chef hats?
Best Wishes
Chris
